Pioneer Legal advised and assisted Suven Pharmaceuticals Limited (Suven) in its proposed acquisition of Sapala Organics Private Limited (Sapala), by acquiring a controlling stake initially and the balance stake after 3 years. The acquisition is proposed to be consummated in tranches, subject to customary approvals.
Suven, backed by global private equity giant Advent International, is a publicly listed contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO). Sapala is a Hyderabad-based CDMO focused on oligo drugs and nucleic acid building blocks helmed by Dr. PY Reddy.
