Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present the 2024-25 Budget in the Lok Sabha on July 23.
The Budget session of Parliament is scheduled from July 22 to August 12. This will be the first budget of the new Modi government following the Lok Sabha elections and marks Sitharaman’s seventh budget since becoming Finance Minister in 2019. There are high expectations this time, with many hoping for reductions in personal tax rates from the government.
