Pioneer Legal advises True North in relation to its minority investment in Vistaar Financial

Pioneer Legal advised and assisted True North in its minority investment in Vistaar Financial Services Private Limited, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus. The investment round exceeding ₹850 crores in value was led by Motilal Oswal along with participation from other co-investors such as Fearing Capital and ABC Impact Fund (a member of the Temasek Trust Asset Management).

Vistaar Financial is a ‘Middle Layer’ NBFC specialising in providing financial solutions tailored for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Vistaar Financial aims to empower underserved businesses by offering customized financial products, such as small business loans, to help them achieve economic and social well-being. Vistaar Financial is also registered as a corporate agent (composite) with the IRDAI and is engaged in the business of selling life insurance and general insurance policies.

True North is a private equity fund with investments in sectors such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals, financial services, consumer products and services, and technology products and services.
