KEY ASSIGNMENTS:

  •  Advising, Sumitomo Chemical Corporation in relation to the merger of its subsidiary Excel Crop Care Limited (a public listed company) with Sumitomo Chemical India, which was thereafter listed on stock exchanges. One of the only few reverse mergers consummated in India.
  •  Advising Daikin Airconditioning in the acquisition of Citizen Industries and further subscribing to shares.
  • Advising, Sumitomo Chemical Corporation in relation to the sale of 5% stake of its subsidiary Sumitomo Chemical India Limited (a public listed company) through the Offer for Sale through Stock Exchange mechanism in two separate tranches.
  • Advising, DIC Corporation in relation to its acquisition of Ideal Chemic Plast.
  • Advising the Bridgestone Group in relation to a joint venture through investment in the equity of Fleeca India.
  • Advising True North, a private equity investor in relation to sale of its stake in UEM India to Toshiba Corporation
  • Advising Dentsu Aegis Network in relation to their joint ventures with and acquisition of advertising and creative agencies across India and/or those which have connection with India.     (b) SVG Group of companies comprising of SVG Media, Smile Multimedia, DGM India Internet Marketing, Networkplay Media, two wholly owned overseas subsidiaries, namely, SVG Media Pte Ltd. and SVG Media FZ-LLC;

  • Advising Percept in relation to its amicable exit from its joint venture with Hakuhodo Inc.
  • Advising Nippon A&L in relation to forming a joint venture company with Bhansali Engineering Polymers, a company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
  • Advising Sumitomo Chemical Company in relation to acquisition of New Chemi Industries, a company engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of insecticides and pesticides.
  • Advising Sumitomo Chemical Company in relation to acquisition of New Chemi Industries, a company engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of insecticides and pesticides.
